About This Project

This tennis air dome holds a special place in our story—both as a milestone in our technical development and as a project with real personal meaning. The site was originally the tennis school I owned until 2015, and after I sold the business in 2019, the new owner made a bold move that same year: expanding the facility by covering one more bank of two tennis courts with an additional air dome. That expansion transformed the venue into a true year-round training hub. Today, the facility features three air domes, each covering two courts, for a total of six tennis courts under the bubble—a rare setup that supports high-volume programming, training, and development regardless of weather. The new dome measures 35m x 36m with a 9m clear height and was engineered for reliable operation and consistent comfort through the cold season. It includes a premium inflation + back-up system delivering 28,000 m³/h combined airflow, along with 246 kW heating capacity to keep conditions stable for players and coaches. It was also an important 'first' for us from an engineering standpoint: this was our first air dome anchored directly to concrete using chemical anchors. That step marked a key evolution in how we approached anchoring solutions—more precision, stronger fixation, and a clean, durable installation. Even today, it remains a beautiful and highly active project. Kids and performance players continue training inside year-round, and seeing the facility grow into a larger, stronger tennis ecosystem has been incredibly rewarding for everyone involved.
