About This Project

This is a flagship tennis dome built for serious training, year-round play, and elite performance. The structure spans 60m x 36m with an 11m clear height, covering four full-size tennis courts at Arena Verdom. We equipped the dome with LED lighting, high-tech surveillance on each court, and a premium inflation + back-up system delivering 45,000 m³/h combined airflow—built for reliability and peace of mind in every season. Comfort is powered by a 357 kW heating capacity, keeping athletes and members playing in consistent conditions even when outdoor weather isn't an option. What makes this project even more special is who it's for: we were honored (and genuinely excited) to build this for Victor Hănescu, former ATP World No. 26 and widely recognized as one of the top Romanian male tennis players in the country's history. This dome isn't just a facility—it's a high-performance training home for an academy that's shaping the next generation of professional players. For the envelope, we used premium Type 2 fabric from Sattler, with a 25 cm insulation pocket, designed to boost energy efficiency and improve indoor comfort. And the best part? The dome is still operating successfully today, supporting daily training and helping drive performance outcomes for the academy.
